Amanda Talty has been serving as President and CEO of the Tourette Association of America (TAA). Under her leadership, Talty has championed the development of programs and initiatives that have reduced organizational deficit by $1.3 million and increased fundraising revenue by 42%. As a result of her commitment to the individuals, families and supporting members of the Tourette Syndrome and Tic Disorder community, Talty has played a tremendous role in helping the Association navigate new revenue streams through development of strategic priorities and partnerships that ensure the success and sustainability of the organization.
Talty continues to work extensively with national staff and volunteers in
implementing new assessments and metric based protocols that can further
demonstrate organizational impact. Under her leadership she launched, the pilot Chapter structure to provide local chapter boards with the support needed to deliver consistent and efficient services to their community, the development of a robust volunteer training program, and a renewed focus to cohorts that serve
underserved populations, including the adult TS community and elevating diversity and inclusion efforts nationally.
Prior to her appointment as President and CEO in 2018, Talty served the organization for two years spearheading development, marketing and chapter relations initiatives. She was responsible for the implementation and development of a fundraising program which attracted new industry partnerships and led to double digit year-over-year increases in revenues as well as improved ratings on GuideStar and Charity Navigator.
Prior to joining the TAA, Talty brings almost 20 years of experience to the nonprofit sector developing and implementing strategic programs designed to spark organizational growth and sustainability.
