Stanfort J. Perry is the Executive Director of AHRC Nassau and its affiliated organizations, which include the Brookville Center for Children’s Services and Citizens Options Unlimited, Inc. AHRC Nassau and its affiliates, are the largest entity on Long Island and the second largest in New York State exclusively serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In addition, AHRC Nassau provides administrative support to Advantage Care, formerly an Article 28 clinic operated by AHRC that converted to a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in 2015.
Mr. Perry oversees the management of a full range of programs including residential and day programs, employment services, family and community support services, school programs, respite, recreation, year- round overnight camp, socialization and self-direction. In addition, he oversees a workforce of more than 3,500 professionals committed to enriching the lives of over 4,000 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Long Island. AHRC Nassau and Citizens are two of four organizations with NYS OPWDD COMPASS accreditation and were awarded the Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL) accreditation with Distinction, an honor granted to only 10 of 350 agencies accredited by CQL internationally and only two in New York State.
Mr. Perry currently serves as Board President of the New York State Industries for the Disabled, Inc. (NYSID) which is dedicated to providing ongoing employment opportunities for people with developmental disabilities throughout New York State.
He received his BA degree from Stony Brook University and a Master of Science in Human Services Management from Buffalo State College.
