Nicole Christensen is a Board Certified Patient Advocate and President and founder of Care Answered, a healthcare coordination and patient advocacy organization. In addition, Ms. Christensen is the best-selling author of “From Crisis to Calm; A Patient Advocate’s Take on Healthcare Coordination for YOU the Common Caregiver”.
Care Answered expertly navigates the healthcare system for clients and helps remove the strenuous obstacles common place in the healthcare process. Holding a Master of Science in Urban Affairs, Ms. Christensen has 20 years of professional advocacy experience. Ms. Christensen also has personal knowledge of the challenges of healthcare coordination and advocacy from assisting her own family.
Nicole began Care Answered because of her knowledge: It is often absolutely overwhelming and paralyzing when trying to access needed care for those you love. Her vision is for all people to easily access the care they need. Care Answered was developed as a solution; advocating for one’s best care and giving caregivers peace of mind. In March 2020, Ms. Christensen developed free webinars regarding any matter of health access. She now continues to partner with experts in various arenas from business to mental health professionals to community leaders; advising people of their care options, what they can do prepare and cope.
Ms. Christensen has been honored with the 2021 Long Island Business News Achievements in Healthcare Award for health advocacy. Her expert opinions, presentations and webinars are requested by news outlets, businesses, universities, civic organizations and legislators nation-wide.
